Description

Typhlodromips swirskii is a predatory mite, which is active in controlling thrips larvae, white fly eggs, russet mites and spider mites. The effect to thrips and white flies are good, whereas spider mites are best controlled at low level.
T.swirskii is well adapted to Mediterranean climate, so in greenhouses and tunnels it works at higher temperatures compared to N. cucumeris. it also work well in summer time in N-Europe. swirskii is well adapted to pepper crop and cucumber crop, in flowers it work well, but often N.cucumeris is working better.
